Sukhcreet is a dedicated family, general litigation and employment lawyer at Osuji & Smith. She earned her Bachelors in Sociology and Social Justice from the University of Victoria, followed by her LL.B from the University of York. Before joining Osuji & Smith, Sukhcreet completed her articles at a civil liberties and human rights center focused on addressing access to justice issues.
Called to the bar in December 2023, she has since gained valuable experience in family law, employment law, and general civil litigation. Sukhcreet takes an empathetic approach to her practice and is dedicated to understanding the lived experience of her clients and working together towards their legal objectives. This approach enables her to facilitate lasting, amicable settlements, in a cost-effective manner.
Sukhcreet’s practice encompasses family planning issues such as pre- and post-nuptial agreements, separation agreements, child and spousal support negotiations, custody arrangements, property division, wills and estate planning, and other critical family law matters.
At Osuji & Smith, Sukhcreet will be providing services in the areas of family law, general civil litigation, and employment law. She is also fluent in Punjabi and Hindi.
