Professional Biography

Patricia was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2016 as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria. She has been involved in high-profile litigation and advisory work and was a key member of the legal team representing the Federal Government of Nigeria in several complex disputes with Exploration and Production (E&P) companies, focused on the recovery of undeclared and under-declared crude oil. She was also part of the team that represented a major International Oil Company (IOC) in defending multiple oil spill claims, with matters involving claims valued in billions of naira and worked with the team that represented Africa’s largest mobile network operator.

With ten years of post-call legal experience, Patricia brings extensive knowledge and practical expertise across a wide range of practice areas, including litigation, employment law, corporate and commercial advisory, and wills and estates. Her core strengths include legal research and analysis, legal drafting, advocacy, negotiation, and the preparation of complex legal documents. Patricia is recognized for her strategic thinking, attention to detail, and her client-centered approach to legal practice.

Since relocating to Canada, Patricia has successfully completed the Practice Readiness Education Program (PREP) through the Canadian Centre for Professional Legal Education (CPLED) and is currently an Articling student, as the last part of her journey towards Canadian legal accreditation.

Beyond her professional pursuits, Patricia is deeply committed to continuous learning, community engagement, and volunteerism. She actively supports initiatives promoting Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) within the legal profession and in the broader community.

Outside of work, Patricia loves dancing, she finds cooking therapeutic and she enjoys travelling.
