…Deji Oluwadairo brings a uniquely diverse background and a deep commitment to service to his role at Osuji & Smith Lawyers. He holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Leicester and an undergraduate degree in Sociology from the University of British Columbia, foundations that have shaped his analytical approach and his passion for understanding people and systems.

Deji’s journey with OSL began as a dedicated volunteer, quickly demonstrating exceptional initiative, reliability, and leadership. His contributions have since grown into a multifaceted role as the firm’s Manager of Legal Support, Executive Assistant to Charles Osuji, and Coordinator of OSL’s FIDI program. In each capacity, Deji is known for his calm problem-solving, professionalism, and unwavering commitment to supporting both clients and colleagues.

His professional experience is broad and dynamic. Before entering the legal field, Deji worked as a security professional in several Vancouver nightclubs—an environment that strengthened his conflict-management skills, interpersonal awareness, and ability to remain composed under pressure. A long-time lover of the arts, Deji is an avid former theatre student, bringing creativity, presence, and communication skills to everything he does. Within the legal field, he holds a particular interest in employment law and is currently working toward securing an articling position as the next step in his path to becoming a lawyer.
